1. Do you often travel by public transportation?

• No, I don’t. I have my own car, so I don’t have to travel by public transportation. Plus, I don’t like the idea of being pushed by some strangers on the bus in the morning.

• Yes, I do. I still take the bus to work sometimes, especially if I don’t get enough sleep the night before. I really don’t think it’s safe to drive when your eyes are about to close anytime!

2. Why do/don’t you do that?

• The bus is always too crowded in the morning. It makes me tired to think about being pushed and elbowed by others.

• There’s no bus route to my company, and since public transportations in my country does not work round the clock, it’s more convenient to drive.

3. What are the benefits of using public transportation, in your opinion?

• Public transport can bring substantial benefits to our environment. It helps reduce air pollution and improve fuel efficiency.

• Using public transport can save you the money you use to fuel your personal car. Moreover, you don’t have to pay any maintenance fee, which is great.

4. Do you think that decreasing the use of transportation is a good measure to protect the environment?

• I don’t think placing a ban on public transportation would be enough to address the issue, and it would even cause the public an inconvenience of commuting.

• Yes, I believe it’s a good measure to help deal with issues regarding the environment. Buses and taxis are believed to have greatly increased greenhouse gasses. 

5. Why are you of that opinion?

• Well, many scientists have proven that public transportation is one of the factors that contributes to the environment. They release too much toxic fumes into the air.

• There are plenty other draconian measures the government can take. Public transportation, after all, has been the only means to get around for those who can’t afford a car.

6. What will happen if public transportation disappears for good?

• I am so not ready to say goodbye to public transportation. It has helped me save tons of money, so I really don’t know what to do if the government decides to end its operation. 

• I think it would help a lot with the traffic problems in my country during peak hours. Without the big buses, I’m sure the streets would be clear.

7. What are other ways to protect the environment?

• Anyone can protect the environment so long as they know how to reuse, reduce, and recycle. Cut down on what you throw away and buy less stuff.

• There are many ways to protect our planet, such as opting for sustainable choices like paper bags instead of plastic ones.

8. What do you think will happen if the human race doesn't take measures to protect the environment?

• I can’t imagine that. The world will end up being a huge junkyard, and soon, all the animals will go extinct. We really have to act fast, or we will lose it all.

• Well, I think our planet will become heavily polluted. Trash will fill the land, and natural habitats will soon disappear. However, that day won’t come soon, rest assured.
